Frankenstude Land speed car

Gaining some ground on one of my Land speed cars. Brass chassis waiting on my H&R Lightning motor, Body from Retroracer44. 1953 Studebaker Commander. Fun build so far, looking forward to seeing how it will do in Ohio!

Daves right! I have some breathing room around here, and a bunch of building to do! finished two this morning that had been languishing on the bench for weeks, and got both LSR Cars started. Swapped out three motors to H&R Hawks. and just generally being a building fool!

Todd, is there a maximum number of cars per entrant, per class? don't ask why I need to know this........... :oops:

To answer your question - On the "Land Speed & Drag" fun run - there are no limits on the number of cars you can submit - it is definitely a "more the merrier" type scenario!

Last night I was thinking to myself, "I wonder if Bob has done anything yet with the Studebaker I sent him, and suddenly there it is.. Not only has he done a super job of it, but he reminded me that I have another of those bodies as yet unused and waiting for an application. Voila, I shall also make a Studey LSR car. Thanks for the Idea, Bob.
I was thinking of making a belly tank lakester, but without a lathe to turn the blank, it might have been a problem. This is much better.

Does anyone out there make Moon disk inserts for CBD 15" wheels?

Keith, this is as close as I have came for moon disc's. if you glue them to an old insert, they could be popped right in.
