I'm with NorCal Mike on this -- this chassis is so beautiful that it should not be covered up. In fact, I'm thinking this project needs to have the body hacked like an old school Modified to highlight the chassis. Great work!

That is very nice work, ccobra. 3D printing is going to open the door to many possibilities in slot car building. It is where some very clever engineering is taking place. You, Choc-ice, Bibbster, and others are blazing a new trail for scratch-build and kit bashing.

Finally got the Chevy II bad from the Paint and Body. I need to study up on How-To's for the windows and painting stripes. It sure is a lot different than doing stripes on a 1:1 car. But at least I had fun with this project. I'll have to add lead down low for it was a little top heavy going around the track even though it weighed in at 111.0 gr.
