Your tolerances must be very close at the rear window on the body mount posts.

Hi Bob,

There's about a 1/16" margin on both sides of the window. I use square 1.5mm plastic anchors (approx. 1cm square with a 3/16" hold drilled in the middle). For the rear mounts, I sanded off one of the sides of the anchors, then faced the sanded-off side into the window zone.

I hope it wantsta run.................that's what I'm building if for.

With the FF-050 motor in it, one of the goals is to keep it under 60g total weight. So far, it looks like it will come in on target. We'll see.......paint weighs. though.........

What did you end up with for final weight?

Just under 60g; 59 and change. Should be OK, but it's closer to the practical weight limit for a slimcan-motored car than I would like.

I've found out that epoxy and paint/clear can weight a lot! Plus I ended up putting a couple of grams of weight just behind the guide post; to keep the nose of this narrow track car planted.
