Chrome eyelets work good for 1/32, like the ones Marks sells, and for 1/25, I use a similar aluminum tube to what you have there, Dave.

Our local Ace Hardware has those, look in the plumbing section for the small pipe that goes to ice makers and such

Mark to the rescue again. No wonder he's a hero around here. I get the feeling sometimes that he spends hours running through catalogs looking for things that look 1/32nd or 1/25th.

I tried to use some of the eyelets from old Ninco motor leads on an engine last year, and no matter what I did, they were just too short. It never even crossed my mind to look in a catalogue for electrical stuff, even though I knew what they were used for. That's what I mean about Mark. He made the connection where I didn't even think of it.

"Uninsulated ferrules" come in lots of sizes/shapes, and can be used for lots of different motors.

A few examples....you can paint them or leave them........lots of online shops + evilpay.

Those look great, Chris. I always said I might detail the hordes of 1960s-70s GT, F-1, and LMP cars I have, and nearly all of them will benefit from this.

This may be like the ceramic blocks for chassis building, in that the vendor takes notice of the frenzy of orders from hundreds of HRW guys.

Shotgun Dave sent me some engine parts to do in resin but I havent done them yet. I do have these engine intakes done though.

They are tricky to cast and I see a fault I hadnt noticed before.





The big one is Ford, the middle one is McLaren/Chev and the little one is anyone's guess. I have used that in some GP car builds.
