Very cool paint job, Dave; glad you carried it off. If I had been able to get one I was going to go more "Afrika Korps" than "Luftwaffe". Now all you need is an MP3 player on board playing "Panzerlied" (the tankers march from "Battle of the Bulge").

That may be the funniest thing ever on HRW, Sarge. Meanwhile, that is a fantastic good idea, Dave. You really outdid yourself. Makes a VW man proud. I can almost see a 3 blade prop in front of it and skinny, weird looking landing gear.

By the way, when Chuck Yeager and Bob Hoover flew the ME 109 after the war to evaluate them, they said it was crazy hard to fly, and that it was a good thing the German pilots didn't have our planes or we might not have beat them, if they did as well as they did with practically no rudder.
