JYD, those cars are EXACTLY what I think will be fun to race. I have also been thinking about a concours competition. Maybe tires should be unregulated? That in itself could make for some interesting differences in performance. (one reason for the rubber tire rule was the thought that, like the ABC Proxy, cars would race on plastic and wood and I think rubber is a little more versatile) But, I could be wrong about that. What about the idea of a spec motor? Or, could a set of performance parameters be set, based on Robert Livingston's motor chart?

JYD, we are just getting the apple cart built, It would be impossible to upset it at this time. If you go back and look at the postings for the Abecedarian Proxy, I think you will see that I am very open to ideas from participants (and others). I just want to organize and host the best proxy ever seen in the civilized world. Your input is valued and appreciated. While I am a well experienced racer, I don't pretend to have all the answers - only some of them. I will post a survey soon and anyone interested can give their opinion. But, in the meantime I welcome all suggestions.

I am postponing this proxy. I posted a note in the Bench Racer's Lounge. This is only a postponement and not a cancellation. I expect to be working on it again in 4 - 6 weeks.
