Woohoo! I didn't come in last! Of course in my book I tied with Shotgun Dave, eh? Really? He beat me by .01 of a second on fastest lap and that put him ahead? Oh well, wait until we get to that super speedway, my other Nascar proxy car liked that one.

:text-thankyouyellow: for a great run, I look forward to hearing your impressions of each car.

Thank you for the feedback and weights on the cars!
And LOVE the podium shot with the vintage trophy - that is just plain cool! :D
Looking forward to putting the field through their paces when they get here to Ohio! :banana-dance:

Jeremy -
No apologies needed...
I probably didn't word it the best above in regard to the guide.
I have been using the D3D guides I have purchased in a number of builds - the most recent being my Sportsman's entry for Harry's fun run!
The guides in these other builds are still going strong and in the instance of my Sportsman's class car, I don't know how much bumping / banging it entry took - but I am sure it definitely taxed the guide with the wide front tires, and door to door action. :)
(Since it's return to Ohio, I have since run a good 50 laps on the 144' road course and 30 laps on the banked oval and that one is still going strong)

This is the first guide out of the five that I have used thus far that failed.
Considering the weight of this entry, the variety of track types and the fact that I like to run with my guide supporting the majority of the weight of the front end - it was definitely a good torture test.
Originally, for known reliability, I had planned to go with a slot.it guide on this build - but I was out of them and the local track only carries commercial guides and Scalectric guides.

Again - sorry for the poor choice of words in my original posting... I have been enjoying using the D3D components and look forward to purchasing more in the future (look forward to the new revised guide as well!)
Thanks!

How soon will you have guides? I liked the braid holding capabilities of your design.
