Affirmative on the deslot(s). We all tried to push the cars for everything that they were worth and for some cars the "line" between fastest lap and deslot was pretty broad - for others, it was razor thin! I didn't keep track of deslots during the racing, but I think the only car that didn't have a single deslot was Retro Racer44's #88 car. :)

Plan to post "as received" multi-angle shots of each car along with the podium shots and additional car details through the weekend - stay tuned! :D

Actually Dave, stops may have been detrimental for the track here as I think your car only deslotted once or twice through the racing - but being so smooth and quiet with a lot of coast, it was easy to carry a bit too much speed going into the corner and really hang the tail out. Anything past about 30 degrees really scrubbed speed / acceleration out of the corner.
Most of the cars (yours included) would have benefited from having a dedicated driver that "knew" the strengths / weaknesses of the individual car to get the most out of the individual car - but what fun would that be!
Our group definitely enjoyed the field and are looking forward to running them next week on the oval! :banana-dance:

Thanks Todd, great report! Tough to be "fast and loose", but I guess that points me in the direction that I need to focus on for the next HRW NASCAR proxy.

Congrats to the podium winners; Bibbster, Arrold and Bibbster's Babe.

I'm all for running the 8-lane oval!

Woohoo! A middle of the pack finish for Junior! I was worried that there might be a problem with the #88 when I saw the last in qualifying, but this is much better. In these proxies, I am discovering that my brass sleds can't compete speed-wise with the Stinker and similar weight chassis you guys build, but at least they stay planted in the slot, eh?
I thought it would like that commercial track, and I suspect it will like the oval as well.

Great job Todd, :text-thankyouyellow:

Thanks Todd and your other drivers. Cool to see how the cars shuffle up and down the list at different tracks. Congrats to the podium finishers, I can see the champagne spraying down in Tennesee. (And plz doubl check the driver in the #10 please, good chance he's been drinking again!)

WOW,
My #17 is now only 2 points behind the leader. With 2 more races to go. I hope I can move up some more. Let's go racing boys and girls.
