The Boyz just keep the hits coming!
I have a couple of these. Back in the day, my dad built a torsion front end chassis on a 7 pole Strombecker motor sized for the Avanti. It's around here somewhere........this is inspiring!

Nice looking build. Boy, I remember when the Avanti came out, there was an incredible amount of buzz around this car. It actually looked futuristic with the squared off lines and sling-back roofline. It is still a head turner, no matter what the scale. Studebaker is probably one of the most under appreciated car companies ever. Their '53(?) streamliner is a real classic of the hot rod world.

Great job on that build! I have an Avanti body from 1960's that I plan on building up. Any chance of seeing a bottom view with the Pioneer chassis?
