Oh, okay!

I'm not finding the resin casters list on here - help?

Well back to the build..

Not too much over the last couple days as I'm waiting on front tires, the engine and the radiator..

Only tinkered on a few things.. I installed the guide mount, worked on the body mounts and added a little brace
to the front crash / push bar.. Oh yeah, I painted the steel wheels too.

Side thought, I do wish the MT motors had screw holes so you could just mount them like the Hawks and Pirhanas.

Kev, You can drill those motors for mountig, i do it all the time. Just use the PM mount as a drill guide, and use a bit the size of the mount holes to center the drill bit, and give you a mark for the right size bit. then use the right size bit for the screws you are using.
Just did this yesterday for my Jalopy build. Try it on an old motor first if you are not comfortable with doing it.

I've been in and out for days now, and just now caught up on this one.

Bob, you got me laughing at myself. I saw that hood and didn't even look at the rest of the body on those! That's some good spotting skills to ID those two.

Kev, you continue to amaze. It isn't just the skills, its the imagination you put into these cars. Like father, like son, right? I'll bet your father loves the realistic rusting.

Shotgun:

I know about the "larger" 1/32 scale '37 Chevy from the 3D scan - but I also remember you were going to pull a "larger" 1/32 scale '39-'40 Ford, from a die cast I think? It was a coupe that would be sized more like the sedan you make - slightly larger...

Is there any progress on that '40 Ford Coupe project?

As you know it is tough to hunt down the mid-thirties coupes in order to build up Vintage Modifieds...

Great job on the vintage 40 Ford stocker Dave. Growing up as a kid we had on in our back yard that was "recycled" into a more open wheel type dirt modefied car. Nice to see you resisted the urge to put a huge front bumper on it, sometimes less is more.

turbokev - Great job on the weathering - it really makes me want to try the salt trick - this car really has a unique finish... Plus the brass scratchbuilding looks right-on as well.

ShotgunDave - I thought these were the Pyro splashes that I had gotten early on... I don't need a pressure cast piece but ideally I would want a 'two-piece mold' casting for consistent shell thickness - if it was available... Coincidently I was chasing this on my end and should have something very soon to show. Your are doing good work here helping to get all of these early stockers on the track!

Thanks these are cool looking builds.

The little resin bits from Mark arrived today~

Cooper wanted in on the action so I let him paint the straight 6.. The flathead is going in the Coupe. so
I'll need to find some sort of a project for Cooper that involves the 6 cylinder.. he's very excited about it~

My new tires should be here tomorrow so I should be able to to get this thing together by the end of the weekend~

I'm really enjoying this build.. Going to give the same type of treatment to Dave's Chevy and Bob's Coupe..
