Fantastic build and I'm not even a big "roundy-rounder" fan! :text-bravo: I can identify with the "why-is-the-motor-hitting-the-interior-when-I-measured-?" syndrome, seems that happens more often on my scratchbuilds than anything else. Again, super sweet looking ride and great blow-by-blow description.

This is cool - full scratch built chassis, very detailed painting and modeling, and your own local sponsor decals - very nice... Useful collection of skills and materials assembled here.

I think there is a lot of satisfaction in making your own one-of-a-kind car, especially from scratch.

Of course this really opens up doors - you can pretty much make up anything you can think of - a tribute to a local short track hero from 40 years ago, or a phantom what-if of a racer that might have been or could be.

Here's the Torino coming out of turn 4.. Long wheelbase with gobs of power..
You need to be gentle on the throttle to get a smooth exit, or it'll get real sideways :mrgreen:

Boy, that's a nice looking car! Chassis body, the whole lot. :text-bravo:

With that tendency to tail-out, I'd turn the brakes way down on the controller, let it coast through the turns and don't get back on the throttle until it's straight. A little weight in the rear, or narrower tires, or weight higher in the car might give you better grip. Looks like a ton of fun though; just like the 1:1 Sportsman class.
