My Pioneer Cherry red 69 Charger arrived today along with the red notchback Mustang. I was pleasantly surprised to see that the red charger has a different head to the Bengal charger. I think the Bengal one has a Steve McQ. clone in it, and the red one has a guy with glasses on. I like that. Well done Jules!

...If you are thinking of running mag with that one you may want to think of putting a Slot.it bar mag or two in.

For whatever reason Scalextric decided to go for a weaker magnet in that release, I got one when they came out, its an awesome looking model, but as it was destined for club racing (magna braid), the lack of magnet downforce was an issue for me....

(Honest I DO attempt to keep as close to club rules as humanely possible).... :P

I went for a train ride to Artarmon and purchased a Pioneer Dan Gurney notchback. Will have some new bushes and a B-NOVA conversion fitted up front but motor, gears, and wheels will remain stock. I have another notchback (Jerry Titus) with SCC 15x11 wheels on it that other racers tend to cry foul on.
