All of these TR3s popping up on the forum almost brings me to tears, missing my old 1:1 rides! Looks like the Sebring chassis works well under that body. Waiting with bated breath on the progress reports. I may just have to find a Lindberg kit someplace.

Very nice build! Looks like some time spent on that top boot area as well.
Seems to be a few of these popping up. Cool!

Thanks for the kind words. I've been dragging my feet a bit though as it has looked like this since last January. If it wasn't for you all here on HRW it wouldn't have made it this far. Thank you Harry for posting for me

Awwww.... It's gonna be a cutie. Love these roadsters. But, I got all excited by the first pic. Thought it was going to be flame orange.

Pete, That is a great build going on there, I just noticed that you worked over the wheel well areas also?

That is looking sharp, like so many things I see on the forums now I want one. Those wheels look great on there btw. I can't wait to see the finished product.

I was away from the computer yesterday, Cape Cod British Car Club's annual Freezin' Fun Run for charity I couldn't miss it although I didn't take my TR as the roads had been salted where I am.
The body was moulded in bright red but it does look kinda neat in orange. The slot is loosely inspired by my street car that is dark green.
I did radius the wheel arches as the Lindberg ones are just too small and strangely low on the fender. After sanding the hump down behind the interior to release the rear "seat" I sanded the entire outer edge. If you compare the orange/red photo to the later photo you'll notice the top of the door is longer and the seam towards the front is now curved. I also glued thin strips of styrene around the edge to act as the cappings.
I'll keep picking at it but it has been at least twenty years since doing any kind of modeling, It's not as easy as it used to seem.

Almost forgot, the chassis was from an MRRC Chaparral and I narrowed the axles a touch and just put the wheels back on. I had planned on locating proper looking wires but these are growing on me
