As all of other proxy races, this one is as much about modeling as performance. Remember this choosing your kit and your painting/livery/decals. There are many examples of how these NASCAR based trucks look. RESEARCH. At any point simply CONTACT US and we will assist.

This is a race using the 3A3D Truck Kits ONLY

Note: Other new Truck Kits added that are currently available on the 3A3D website are Legal for this race including the Panel Truck

The kit consists of a 3DP truck body, chassis plate, motor mount ( short can sidewinder or Inline Builders choice), interior, and hardware. Actual kit may vary slightly from photos. Also included are the following items (“hardware”):

4x – M2 5mm grub screws (oval point)
4x – M2 Nylock Body Mount inserts
2x – SCC M2 x 6mm motor mount screws
4x – SCC M2 x 6mm body (machine) screws
2x – SCC 4mm motor mount screws
2x – JK Products #5574 3/32 single flange bushings
4x – .020″ Axle shim/spacers
1x – Slotinvasion BRM/Revoslot 1/32 Guide

NOTE: When ordering from the 3A3D Website specify in the notes if you want the kit with a sidewinder or inline configuration as we are allowing both motor configurations.

Be aware that Sidewinder only allows a certain size wheel as you will have body to tire clearance issue when not using the recommended wheel for side winder. Contact 3a3dslotcars@gmail.com for assistance.

In addition to the items included in this kit, you will need to purchase front axle assembly, rear axle assembly, motor, and any other items required to complete the build (see list below). If you decide to finish the body and interior, you will need to provide paint, decals, etc. as well.

Parts you will need to complete the kit (not included):

4x – BMSlot Works 15x8mm Wheels (2 pairs)
*****NEW**** CB Design 15×8 are of course legal, but supply has run out and the new brand BMSlot has now been launched.

REMEMBER you must model these in scale.
Meaning you WILL USE INSERTS if using the blank insert wheel.
Stocker, Steelys, etc are of course good as they are.

4x – Paul Gage PGT-21105 tires (2 pairs)
2x – JK 5501 3/32″ x 55 mm axles
1x – Predator 22.5K RPM “Jolly Rancher” Ball Bearing Motor or 20500 Long Can (inline)

** IMPORTANT ** – Clearance between the “back” of the motor and the rear axle is very miminal. If you plan to use a Predator motor, you shouldn’t have a problem. Other brands (e.g. Slot.It, NSR, Piranha) have a slightly larger motor can configuration. If you plan to use one of these brands, the axle may interfere or bind with the can. A potential solutions is to use a Slot.It center turned axle that has a reduced diameter along the center section.

No modifications to the body or the chassis. KEEP IT STOCK.
This means no opening the wheel wells, no drilling, cutting, ect.

Only SCC original CB Design or the all new line of BMSlot Works wheels ONLY. REMEMBER: If you use the insert wheel you MUST INSTALL INSERT

You can choose between sidewinder or inline

Sidewinder: Predator 22.5K RPM “Jolly Rancher”
Inline: Predator 20500 Long Can

Body/Chassis Clearance To Track: 3/32″ is a good minimum. 2 Lines Speedway is very slightly banked, so this distance is ideal to prevent front or sides of the body making contact. If you assemble the kit without modifying the body mounts, you should have no problems.

Interior: Yep, we provide one. Use it.
Glass: YES.
Roll Bar: OPTIONAL but most of them have one.

MODELING :The trucks will LOOK LIKE THE NASCAR TRUCK SERIES MODELS. Meaning, door and roof/bed numbers and sponsors that look to scale. RESEARCH.

So to remind all modelers: This is NOT A STREET/DRAG event. Model the trucks accordingly. If in doubt, ASK IN THE FORUM

Failure to follow the theme will simply mean it will not be ran.
