Perfect weather for some topless action

Just tuned these up and ready for the weekend. Using H&R Cobra motors in these now and I like them.

I need to get back to work on my convertibles project. I have one in 1/32 and one in 1/24 half done, sitting in boxes waiting for me to get back to it. Those are exactly what I want mine to look like. Excellent.

Harry,

You got me on the title. I was expecting to see extra headlights.

Best regards,

Those verts are nice Harry. Sweet. Whats with the cobras? I thought you were more of a hawk man?

Just trying something new Greg. They are around 26K and in these larger, heavier cars they seem to be a good match.

But the HAWK is still my motor of choice. I still prefer the control it gives me.

Thanks guys, just having a bit of fun. Cheater built the FORD I did the old Chevy. Both have not seen much action, but this weekend will change thaat :)

Yeah it always good to try something new. I have not tried the Cobras yet but Ill get one in my next order to try them out. Ive been happy with Hawks. I find Im turning the volts down even with the hawks as my track is small.

Anyway nice job with those verts.

great stuff.

I made this right after Carrera brought out it's 57 Chevy. Those are Pattos peel and stick for 1/32 scale.
Hope you don't mind me adding my 2 cents to your thread.

Harry, we switched to Cobras in our vintage grand national for the same reason, they give a little more zip to the "cabs" since we switched back to hard bodys.

All three look pretty good to me.

And what a battery of magnets on the Buck Baker car! Don't go near that one if you've got a pacemaker. :auto-ambulance: :D

It would be a shame if these cars went so fast you couldn't see them.

David.

Here is my Chevy on a Carrera vintage chassis, lots of smiles watching it out on the track.

The T Bird is also fixed with a Carrera vintage chassis so all the Carrera's can be out on the track with some equal footing.
