Actually the cloud backdrop sounds pretty cool. I've been gathering up distant shots of WWII barracks and disused (closed) runways to use for background when I get mine track up again.

I like your barrier fence with the banners on it, definitely looks more "racetrackish", more in keeping with its "ovalosity" :mrgreen:

Very Very nice job Shotgun...I have been following this project and it has been an adventure . I will be (with the help of the Club Gurus) building an oval soon also . Sorry but I might have missed what you used to get that great looking surface for the track . So I don't have to go back through the whole thread to find it, would you be so kind to share that info with me . I also love the entire theme you went with to complete SoCal Speedway .
