Lanes drawn on 2 out of 3 MDF boards. When drawn we will route.

Only the red, dark blue and green are lanes. The light blue is the white border line.

Where will it be? Or I should say, where will it fit?

Back corner of my basement. It barely fits along the wall but opens up more space in the middle of the room. We are drawing sections 1 & 2 this weekend and maybe starting to route.

Not now as it gets a luan board cover so my wife can use it as serving counter for parties. Concessions we make for the one we love. On the long side is a 3" insert between the track and the wall. It will have fake store fronts and a side walk.

On the short wing there is a light blue angled line. That is a tentative cut. Once the thing is set in place it will be cut. That is the minimum size. It could be moved out if the dynamics of the room allows it.

The basic flow was done using Ninco track and the Pzooc drew it and smoothed it in Autocad. The outer edges of the Ninco represented the outer two lanes and the middle of the track = the middle lane. We then made adjustments.

Is the back corner "driveway by back yard" or "backyard by neighbors"? In the days before navigation didn't include satellites, that kind of description meant something.

Meanwhile, what are you going to do with the area at the bottom of the stairs, if there's no track there?

Personally I'd open that back corner out a little even though it shortens the straights a little.

Ember, I have considered that but will wait until it is drawn and set in place to see it in reality. If it urns out problematic later we will Bondo and recut. Thanks for confirming my one suspicion.
