What a week. Seems like a lot of craziness going on out there. Hope some of you folks have much better days ahead.

Going to try and keep it about slot cars around here as much as possible. Have a LOT of projects that need to get finished and as usual more are adding to it.

I picked up a few cars that have been on my wish list and have a article in the works. My new camera and I are still working out the kinks, so the pics may not be perfect, but hopefully I can get things figured out.

Thanks to all who help out HRW. We are a smaller group perhaps, but of course I think we have quality over quantity. People can share ideas, tips, methods...etc here and the more you folks help each other, the better our little corner of the web will be. Hat's off to those taking the time to write up reviews and tech tips, it may not seem like it sometimes, but more people read and appreciate what you do than you might think.

Got invited to a 3 hour enduro tomorrow night on Carrera Digital which will be a new experience for me.
I do know most of the guys, so it should be a fun time no matter what :banana-rock:

Not long finished up a Club meeting here. 13 turned up so I B-B-Qed a stack of sausages and onions while we raced. We ran NASCAR and classic NASCAR on the oval then while they tucked into sausage sandwiches, cake and biscuits (boys seem to have a real sweet tooth!)I swapped the transformers over for the down lights that trigger the timing sensors for the 3 lane road course and we finished off with Ninco GT, SCX Rally, classic Rally AND I won the raffle (the new Slot.it GT-40). Not rostered for work this weekend so plenty to do as Canberra celebrates its centenary,fireworks on the lake Saturday night and brunch with friends at the Botanic Gardens on Sunday, home in time for the Grand Prix. Hope y'all have a good one.

I have nothing but good news starting today. When my father finally died Feb 7th, there was a huge task to do in time for my youngest to move in and help my mother, who is recovering from being a caregiver for Dad for 9 months after his first stroke. I tossed enough magazines and out of date engineering and architectural books to fill the cube (8x8x8), dumpster 4 times, approximately 9 tons of crap, representing a garage, a bedroom, a den and a 10x20 storage unit. Then, starting Monday, I moved my son in, finishing yesterday. Now, with five solid days of rain coming, I can lock myself in my shop with slot cars, beer, no phones, lots of Stevie Ray Vaughn and Brian Setzer. I have acquired 6 "stripped" 1/24 kits, AMT kits with no parts but the ones I need for slot cars, and I'm going to build all of them. Ah... therapy! Expect pictures, this is going to be great!
