Here are some pics of an AMT Camaro I did awhile back. I used a Parma 1/24 scale lexan stock car interor and I didn't like the body mount system AMT used so I glued EverGreen styrene strips to the inside of the rocker panals and driled extra holes in the chassis and used some self taping screws from the bottom up into the styrene.
The Firebird is on Parma FCR chassis that I done several years ago.
There ya go! here's the "other" one-- the only two of these crappy kits ever completed, I think. I consider it a mark of expertise to get one of these things on the road. Congratulations!
This really is an accomplishment. I've done 3 of these as reviews, and the Camaro was the most difficult, with bad fitting parts, and some strange stuff that didn't want to wash off for painting, etc. DHansen did very well, believe me.
Thanks guys. I didn't have any real problems with the body, but the chassis I took a few libertys with. I didn't like the guide so I moved it forward and used an old Jet Flag I had laying around and changed the body mounts. Tires and wheels may get changed out later. Tires anyway, to much rim and not enough tire sidewall.
