Answering a question posed by SpeedyNH, this is the paint I use for my special projects! I cheaped out and bought the kind without logos, but I have a bunch of bottles of those.

Next time, hold the can upside down. I think the car would look better with the 2 colors reversed :lol:

(and all this time I was looking for curved paint, not flat. that explains it- the labels were incorrect.)

Here's another tip about blacks. Duplicolor makes an engine paint that is "Low Gloss Black" that is perfect for convertible tops and vinyl roofs. Also, those late 60s hoods on several Mopar muscle cars. The 1968 Satellite 440 had a square field of low-gloss black on the hood that was very striking, as was the 1969 Roadrunner 383 with two wide stripes in low gloss black.
