Yenko Corvair

I purchased this resin body from a board member and it's almost done. It's mounted to a scaley mustang chassis and runs very nicely on Paul's urethane tires.

I'm considering dremeling the front/rear bumpers as most pictures I've seen of the 1:1 car dont have them.

A 1962 Corvair was my first car, handed down from my Dad to my older brother and then to me. I wanted a Yenko convertible when I traded it in but my Dad said no, I ended up with a 1965 Chevelle 2dor sedan.

Not to hijack this thread but I just recently finished a mold for the Corvair. It will take a bit of cleanup beacause I'm still learning to do this but here is a pic of one of the first bodies I removed from it. It has body mounts molded into the body for a Pioneer mustang chassis and I believe a Scalextric Mustang chassis would mount as well. The cleanup area is the right hand corner. I sell them for $20 each shipped to the US.
