Yep. The trouble is, they keep changing the standards to sell meds. My BP hasn't changed in 25 years. I was borderline hypertensive then, and I still am, but they changed the standards about the same time there was an explosion in BP meds. The same with blood sugar. When I worked in the serology labs at the huge Baptist Hospital in Memphis, a warning level of blood sugar was plus or minus 100. Now if its over 85 or so, they act like the world is coming to an end. An adult male of robust build in 1970 was normal at around 200 pounds (me after senior football)- in 1997, the same man was overweight with the same exact shape and weight. You are on your own, people. Do the research. There is more (on real websites, not crazies), online now than the Dr.'s in 1970 had in their most trusted research data, and they can't keep up, so they believe the drug salesmen.
