1/32 1970-72 Cutlass / 442 - anyone know of a source?

I have been through all of the normal resin vendor listings, model listings, die cast, etc and it seems as though I can find die cast 1/43, 1/24 and 1/18 cars and models in 1/24 and 1/25 - but I am coming up with a big goose egg in the 1/32 department. :(

Anyone know of a source?

Any insight would be appreciated! :D

I cant even find a Die cast to mold from! I will keep looking Todd, there may be something out there.

Thanks Bob - would LOVE to have one in 1/32 to build as I have owned a number of Oldsmobiles over the years and have a particular fondness for the '70 - '72 body style so any help would DEFINITELY be appreciated!

A 442 does not exist in resin, plastic or metal. Trust me, I've looked. I do have a 1970 Buick Skylark though.

I had a 1970 Cutlass 'vert in my youth. 455 with a T-400, bucket seats and no console. Had A/C and PDB. Gold on gold with a white top. I got it from the original owner. I'll see if I can find my pics.

Todd are we brothers? I've been watching and waiting for one of those for so long my eyes are sore. I've owned a couple myself, my fav was a 71 supreme with a bigblock worked over to 462 ci and some driveline mods. I'll never forget the night we were testing and it pulled the wheels for the first time. The crowd loved it but the cops were not impressed, did you know the Kmart parking lot was considered the street :violence-stickwhack: :violence-smack: :laughing-rolling: At least back then it was a half hour riot speech and $18.75 on the ticket, now around here your license is gone and they can crush the car :bow-blue: OOPS I'm showing my age now! That must have been a stout runner to be able to hook hard enough in a parking lot to pull the wheels!

I have owned a number of Oldsmobiles over the years, ranging from a '64 Jetstar 88 to as new as a 2-door '85 Delta 88 . Mixed in there are a couple favorites like my '70 Cutlass S noted above (just a lot of great memories in that car!), the '69 442 convertible (bright blue, black interior/top, A/C car that unfortunately had a transplant drivetrain - but still was a LOT of fun!) and my '82 that I saved from destruction that came with a blown head gasket 231 that ended up getting a small block / 700R4 / 3.73 transplant and after it's repaint was my daily driver from spring through fall for many years. :D

Doc - with no Olds body in sight at this time, if you do end up offering resin Skylark bodies, I sure wouldn't mind getting in line for one! :D

I noticed that Turbo Squid has a 69 442 but forty bucks was a little rich for me, especially when you have to scale it to fit and hope that you calculate the scale correctly.

In addition to the '69 Hurst Olds, I see they DO have a '71 442 w/cold air hood!!!

It is priced at $99 for what I am guessing is a full 3d set of prints? (I unfortunately know next to nothing about 3d printing :oops: ) But that is definitely cool to see!
I would guess, based on some of the past posts, that getting it from that set of prints to a viable resin body, in the correct scale, would tack on another couple hundred dollars in cost, plus some notable labor - but this is at least encouraging to see!

I bet the rendering and printing would be the cheap part, check out the license agreement! I have another suggestion, it's still likely affected by copyright laws but what about a 3D scan of a 1/18 to rescale? I have several very good examples to offer if it were a possibility!
