Yeah guys - I am thinking "Highway gears" are going to be our friend... :)
I can say that 3.78 gearing (9:34 inline) is WAY too much unless you plan to put a notable amount of lead up front... :oops:

You could be liking 12:30 then SW or 10:25 IL. In the traps is the right place for an IC motor but with the constant torque you get with an electric, you'll be there way ahead of 50 feet. So, go tall and run it out for the last half of the run.....

Don't forget to load a six pack - the last half will be cruise control!
