I "may" just have to explore the "two submissions" idea as I am tempted to just leave the stock chassis on this first one as I was shocked at how well it runs with no lead and stock untrued rubber on it! (very nice balance!)
Again - thank you for the clarification - now I can get back to working on graphic ideas! :D

has any one started building a brass chassis yet? if not im thinking of just sticking with the stock carrera chassis and allowing it to be modified. then is we get enough interest we can add a second class for scratch built chassis. let me know. thanks all!

Mine will stay plastic as well, I doubt i could build a chassis that would handle any better that it came!
I even like the stock wheels on that car, they are different.I am thinking of some engine up grades (the one you see through the back windows). Also, what about the Magnets?

please note the rule change about the chassis. the only person i have not heard from on the list is todd. so for now we changed the rule to stock carrera chassis. todd let me know if you are ok with this?

also if you want to do multiple cars im all for it! only 6 entries so far.

I am good with the "stock chassis" only requirement - as, like others have mentioned - I am pretty impressed with how this little critter runs! :)

With going with "stock chassis" only - is the intent to keep limit the entries to the stock motor / wheels / gear ratio as well - or are those options still on the table?

I am good with either way on the motor / wheels / etc - just thought I would ask so that it gets clarified. :)

BTW - Bibbster - glad to hear that you are joining the fun!

stock motor with the optional all new piranha motor. any wheels you want as long as the backs are wrapped with paul gauge tires pg or xg compound. gearing is wide open too. no magnets.
