Posted: Mon Feb 02, 2015 9:44 pmThe SRT or G+ cars were averaging about $21-29 at the time I got out of HO. They are pretty high quality and fast as the blazes - so I'd consider them the Slot.it of the HO world. Considering Slot.it cars average $50, I'd say that's not bad in HO scale.

Posted: Mon Feb 02, 2015 10:02 pmI'm pretty sure the most I ever spent on HO was a custom made, pinstriped, and painted body, with matching trailer and six custom wheels and really good tires for $35. I should say, I never left TJets. I never could get interested in the ones so fast you can't see them. I remember when AFX came out, I thought, "That's as fast as I'll ever buy." Eventually, I dumped them, too. Can't enjoy watching them run 'cause they're too fast to see.
I spent some time with the guys who now have AutoWorld right after they got it. It was at the Chicago Hobby Show and I was not impressed with their dedication to the hobby at all.
