I raced locally on a copy of the Fray Black Track. It was great.

Looks like a good time! I see someone is making that colored track you showed the other day.
That is also the cleanest garage I've ever seen!

WOW! That looks like a LOT of fun!
I really enjoy racing t-jets and their SS brothers - usually make for a really good time!

As for the colored Atlas track sections, yup, "I know a guy." LOL Yeah, my buddy makes all sorts of bodies of cars. He does it for the love of the hobby. So, I worked with him to see if he could mold a couple of single lane sections. Of course, you could just cut a two lane in half down the middle but where's the fun in that!
This is the track we race/practice at in the build up for the Fray. It was a very tough crowd but I did have a few mini-victories within a race...like the time I was leading for the first five laps...I had two contenders on each side of me (directly beside me)...I would give a little in a technical part...take it back on a section I was more confident in...holding my own on the front straight....diving deeper in the turn than my competitors...then, BAM...I deslotted...and was lucky to pull off a fourth. These guys are that tight in racing. One mistake and you are done. But for those first 5 laps, I could have been somebody. I could have been a contender. Next time.
And that pretty much sums up my racing experiences on Fray track. It's a great thing.
