Fine tuning the pick ups, however this is a "art" I have not mastered yet, but I`m getting there. Other than that they are proxy ready.
AMX is a short W/B Challenger long W/B

Those bad boys look fast!
Rich D did a really good tuning guide for the Thunder Jet 500 chassis, including adjusting the pickup shoes.
I didn't know there's a hook, heel, step, toe, and window in those darn things!

Working on the 1967 Cougar #98 raced by Dan Gurney at Green Valley / 1965 MUSTANG #4 raced in 1966 by A.J. Foyt at Sebring

Both cars will be on the track Sunday
I need to check the rules to see if I can remove the bumpers, grill and head lights on the mustang as Foyt did.

The removing of these parts would lighten the body so they must stay on for this race, I will just paint them black.

Bad news
Ky.Slot Racer I just found out
The AMX was the only American-built steel-bodied two-seater of its time, Never ran in the Trans-am races and is not within SCCA rules of the time as it was only a two seater. AMX's now signature badging was transferred to a high-performance version of its four-seat sibling, the Javelin, from the 1971 to 1974 model years.
