Hot wheels late model body as Ho slot car

I picked these hot wheels cars up pictured below today at a craft store after being inspired by Mark(Derby City) and many others using hot wheels die cast car bodies on slot car chassis. I had looked at resin bodies of these late model cars but they are usually $10 for bare bodies plus shipping and much more if you buy them painted and decaled. These two hot wheels late model cars cost me a $1 each.
So I got them home and drilled out the rivets to the chassis on my drill press. i find when removing and disgarding the chassis that the bodies on these hot wheels late models are plastic. I start matching up the body wheel base and Ho chassis I have to find that the AFX G Plus chassis for the old F1 cars fit under this body like a glove plus the roll bar detail and such can be used also and left in place. I cut the rear body post on the bodies for the original afx g plus chassis to fit perfectly. I used 2 sided tape to attached the body to the chassis.
No need for paint or decoration with these bodies because they look great as is! I noticed with some modification a tyco pan chassis would probably work also with the front axle moved to the forward position and the side tabs removed on the chassis. Many other chassis may work also with modification? I had the old AFX G plus chassis as spares in my chassis box so decided to use them.
AFX G Plus chassis.

I took them for a spin around the track and with the old sponge tires on the afx g plus chassis make them drift through the corners like a late model dirt track car should.
More Ho racing fun for limited dollars. How can you beat already painted late model bodies for $1 each. This hot wheels car is called Maximum Leeway and was produced in various colors between 2013-2015 so they are still fairly easy to find.
Happy Hunting and Racing!!!!!
