Route 93 Raceway - race pics/summary from 2/6/15!

APalmer, Slot Therapist and myself joined in the fun up at Route 93 Raceway in Akron, OH this last Friday on their 4-lane TKO track - and fun it was! :D

Racing started with AutoWorld Racing Rigs:

Next up was stock t-jet!

Definitely a lot of great action in this class - with some of the finishes coming down to mere feet on the track!

The final race of the evening was a class referred to as "Friday Night Cars" which are AutoWorld / Johnny Lightning cars where the only changes allowed are:
Removal of traction magnet required if present
Weighted front end
Double flange rear wheels with slip ons
Aftermarket pick-up
(you can trim the posts and remove the back glass from the body - but no resin bodies or modification to the top plate, etc allowed)

It makes for a pretty fun / inexpensive class!
