Good day. This is happy Canada Day. So happy Canada Day to everybody. The cars have not arrived yet. We hope we can gather enough Kats to run the race Thursday if the cars arrive Tuesday. Otherwise due to holidays by many of the Club members there would be a week delay. While we are having this discussion the Autodrome is a three lane track so four minutes per line or three minutes per lane? I will also privately email Chris to get his address so we can get this thing bundled and packaged and on its way by weeks end if all goes according to a tight schedule. If not I lay the blame fully on summer holidays and people traveling.

Cars arrived today at 11:00 am. Got an unpack, quick inspection , test run. braid and tire clean. Qualification has been run on middle lane. These are the results. Maybe more pics later but right now time constraints.

Oh the humanity...oh the turtilamity of it! It seems that a tragic event has occurred at the 'drome during today's practice. While thundering down the inner straight Radarek's McLaren (closest thing to claiming Scot's heritage only by name, not good enough for Jack E....still crap) felt a bump at the right rear. The mounties were quick to arrive on horseback and halt the session while Canadian health care services (every turtle is covered in a single payer system for humans and turtles) surveyed the ...mmmm...injury?...pancake....the Princess Fridgidaires gather as the piper plays Amazing Grace....the end of the beloved bejewelled mascot :violin: may have.....what's that???...that's not our mascot but rather his evil twin Skippy? Well carry on then. Racing tomorrow on the Forth of July :flags-waveusa: ! :banana-dance:

Welcome to the day of the Ninth Round of the Formula 1 Proxy brought to you by CBC from Cornwall Ontario on the banks of the beautiful St.Laurence River known locally as Old Man Larry. We are in vibrant black and white till our technicians solve a minor issue....oh problem solved, the colourizer instructions had to be in French not English because our equipment was borrowed from Radio Canada in Quebec.



Tickets were hard to come by. As can be seen many late comers were garnering favour from Don Palermo, close associate of Benzo Pherrari..



The crowds are jovial and enjoying the “carnival” atmosphere or as they say in French “carnival” Just as a bit of trivia there also is no French word for restaurant or bureau or resume.




And on this Fourth of July our American friends were enjoying an all American taco at Mama’s Cocina. Patriotic or what, eh?

Race about to start in about two hours or couple of beers. Skippy the evil twin turtle was revived by being reinflated with a bike tire pump so no haunting for Radarek to worry about. And full wrap up and results late tonight or tomorrow morning. Stay tuned. Anything to add Sir Nige.

We went to the best prognosticaters in F1 to take a guess at the outcome of what proved to be a very tightly packed group of cars. Nothing clear.


Once again translation issues caused the colourizer to translate in French. They see things a little more clearly in black and white.


Brilliant ! Back in colour here with the top three deserved podiumites (is that even a word), Four intrepid drivers arrived. Many thanks to PeterA, Sparky, and Steweeee (our brilliant keeper of the statistics.) Numbers dictated that the kill switch be used for offs but my finger was not really that busy. Same three drivers throughout the race. One marshal and gatherer of statistics. Sir Nige anything to say?
"Hrrrumph um yas ...well then...bloody brilliant,wot."


Here are the results. Jack E. Stewart any comments?
"Ach well then. Chris' car...a McLaren...great Scottish name...fast as hell but its nit rrreally Scotish so crap! The next thrrree carrs so close yea couldn't git a fleas hair tween them. And then the five after....close as kin git. Grrreat racing."


And so there is always a car going home with the goats.
