This is one of the "NEW" BRM cars with the anglewinder drive configuration.
The BRM Porsche 962s that originally came out with the motor / gear misalignment kind of paved the way for BRM, at least in my opinion. I have both the BRM Porsche 962C - From-A livery and the BRM Toyota 88C - "South East Toyota Dealers livery. Both cars, once properly set up ran very well. I'm glad that I read about the shim under the motor to correct that misalignment issue. Once that was installed, the car ran quieter and the current draw on the bench (no load) was very low. I knew it helped the speed of the car. We raced them for some time in commercial raceways and had a grand time.
Sure do wish we could get some folks interested in racing them once again here in Florida.

I especially like that they have mounting points for a Carrera digital board.
