Had some fun building this one. I already had a few coopers in the fleet, so I thought I would do up a "what if" car. Some of these Zee toys body's are two piece, and screw together. I usually make a clamshell design chassis for them so I don't need to cut away the bottom of the car. This one still needs exhaust and proper wheel inserts, and it will be done.

LOL! A Gulf Cooper! If Lee is still around, lurking in Florida, he must be beaming! That's great. Remember when one of the HRW guys painted a snowmobile and an ATV in Gulf livery and posted them on HRW addressed to Lee?

One of my most prized slot cars is a Lothar Motschenbacher McLaren that Lee repainted in Gulf colors and sent to me. I miss him.
