I might be late to the game on this one, but if you haven't tried tree supports over regular supports, give them a try. I have typically avoided anything that needed a support due to prior bad luck with trying to separate the print from the supports. I have been playing around with tree supports and they work so much better.
I printed this motor with tree supports and the detail of the exhaust comes out great.
The one on the right is with the supports, the one on the left has the supports removed. Great motor for a modify build.

Nice I'd like to give that a try where is the file for the engine?

Thanks Junior how do I size it for 1/32 scale?

Fizty, I scaled it to 1/32ish in Utilmaker Cura which I use to slice the file for the printer. I kind of eyeballed it to 1/32, I used an existing resin motor for a reference.
The purple one was my first print which came out a little to small so I enlarged it a few MM's.

I was looking for bodies to print and found this cab on Thingiverse. I printed is with tree supports and the print came out great The best part is the tree supports separated from the cab very easily.

:lol: I was expecting something along the lines of stumps or actual tree supports!
