Paul, if somebody has a scanner, could they duplicate a tongue for a Dynamic chassis? Would the available materials not be strong enough?

Matt,
I am willing to give it a try. It won't have the weight of the original, but stiffness is actually pretty decent so it might suffice.
Can't hurt, anyway.

I can't tell you guys how happy I am with all this interest in this genuine new tech. This is how we keep the hobby thriving, not blanket gadgetry from the big manufacturers, but real inventions specifically for the hobbyists. Proud of you guys. Go get 'em!

Paul, I'll send you a Dynamic tongue in the near future. No hurry, just something I wondered about. Motor carriers are easy to get, but tongues are harder to find. I thought about resin, and putting wire in the plastic like we used to do for frames and other parts. May still try that sometime.

has anyone done a comparison of 3D printers? There are a few of us who are over 20 and are thechno challanged.
My middle name is now DUMAS. I can't do the things I did in my younger years. The grand kids have to set up my tv.

Well....I joined the Ender3 gang when mine arrived last night.
The Dremel 3D20 has been great....but I finally decided I needed the heated bed and the Woot price was under $200.
So I will be learning the Ender3 too....but there is a lot of great help here and in forums.
Step 1: get a glass plate for the printer bed.......

There are some good assembly tips and tutorials, David notes a few in the 3d forum.
I cut a piece of 1/8 tempered and went to the next size binder clip....
Have at it!!
