Thanks to all Harry and crew. Was not expecting an 8th place finish considering the condition of the car. Thanks a bunch.
Congratulations to all of the builders in the Showdown. Some very nice cars in this group. I have got to get my scratch building skills up.
Hats off to the top five in both classes.

Had the general make me a sign for my podium finish. Decided to go with the fast lap challenge since i took second there. And of course a few door prizes :). Thanks for hosting to The Boss Man and the General!!

Thanks for hosting another Showdown . Always great to see all the great looking builds.
Must be an error in the fast lap data. Barc #22 avg time is quicker than its best lap time. For a second I thought I had built a consistantly fast runner to have the best avg, but then realized my avg time was better than my quick lap, so there must be an error in the avg time.
Congrats to the winners, but the real joy is just in having an event to build for
Thanks Harry

Thanks to everybody. I know the hard work involved with something like this.
Sure did wanna' be there.
Who'da thunk a Nash & full size Ford would be the winners from all those great cars.
I figure they musta' just avoided all the crashes. :D
Gameover had the exact same modified fast lap & only 3/100th avg. speed difference.......
Thanks again.
BTW I didn't have much time to build new cars, so all but the #1 mod were rebuilt "bottom of the shelf dwellers"
or redone from year's past Showdowns.
