Hello Guys

Cars arrived safely, all been checked and qualifications have been run. What a great bunch of cars, some new faces are stepping up to the game, at least new to me, some old baddies too. All cars performed great, off course some are faster, some are slower but that doesn’t change the fact that I had great fun qualifying them. Qualm was done on our usual blue lane at 11.5 volts. 10 laps was given to each car or more if it kept improving. Tires were cleaned with tape.

Thanks for the qualification results.

Can you provide a little information about your track? Like many others, I'm curious to see how the race unfolds.

Hello

First a bit of info about the track.
80 feet on red lane, our longest lane, mdf with chalkboard paint, copper braid, separate power sources with regulated voltage, for this race we have set it to 10.7 volts for more drivability and in some cases we have better laps then during qualification. For drivers stood during race: Pat, Kirby, Robert and Paul, for Robert that was truly race of his own as after recovering from some serious health problem standing up and race all 35 cars is a great achievement. Plus he had the least number of deslots too. We had one single problem during race when front wheel came off of Barc’s car, besides that no problem. I have sent some pictures to Allan to post. I will attach spreadsheet in few minutes...

Wow, it looks like Dale and I were locked in a battle to the finish! Identical results in every lane: I am assuming he gets the higher position due to better Q time?

Thanks very much for running the round guys. Looks like my #80 has sort of settled in to the just-better-than 10th slot....

Cheers

Alwyn

I will try to get results spreadsheet working. If there was a tie then average lap was a tie breaker after that fastets lap
