got my Beetle R ready for the proxy race in Hamburg.
hybrid chassis with printed motor holder / guide holder and brass plate. screwed together with M1.4 screws.
Motor Slotdevil 6025, slot.it crown, 2.38mm axles and ball bearings all around
resin body with some modifications, okay well, not much left of the original :-)
painted with tamya spray paint, homemade laser printed decals

Dan, it is a proxy for VW Kaefer in Hamburg. It takes place in Hamburg on September 15, 2018.
all kind of VW Beetle, wheel base not to altered, no top chop, rest is more or less free.

Aki, i found the garage in the german scratchbuilt forum once, as a pdf-file. scaled it down from 1/32 to 1/43 and yes, it looks good. got 3 or 4 different once by now, so suitable for nearly every kind of car :)
