Kmart Newman Haas Indycar

Earlier I did up a mold for a Lola indycar. This is the first car to use the Lola shell. I spent the morning doing up all the Kmart graphics.( I will have all these done by the time my store bought decals show up) So one more car has been added to the Indycar stable. Chassis and running gear exactly like the rest. Getting it so the chassis and front wing are getting lower. I also painted Peters guides black to help them disappear.

The Lola is less bulky in the back end. It does however mean the motor is moved forward to allow the shell to fit. I am using the Mineabea motor ( 10x 10 x18)as it has a long shaft allowing this to occur.

The other March shells are big enough to take a short shaft motor sitting aft.

The chassis for these cars are well handling. You almost can not deslot them. The rear wheels may break loose, but the low COG has them staying in the slot. I may get one to your proxy in February
