Rec’d Ortmann Tires and blue tuning engine

All I can say is, wow!! That blue tuning motor is amazing. Actually too fast for my 50’ track and 9’ straight. Lap times are down (maybe it’s me and I have to get used to it), but I’m super excited to try it at my local club with the 132 much larger track. The Ortmann tires are good, but i think very similar to Cargo Customs (which are both much better than Jel Claws).
Fun level just went up a bit!!

Ortmann tires are urethane, they should have at least a little more grip than Jel Claws, but they are not always perfectly round.

ortmann and cargo tires are both urethane tires and are quite easy to sand. they offer great grip IMO.
I have some CarGo tires that are casted from 3D printed masters and they are very, very round. quite near to perfect.
the go!tuning motor from Gokarli has great speed, yes.
for nomagnet racing i prefer the stock go!motor.

I agree, Peter, I can’t inagine using this motor for nonmagnet. I actually am going to install a 6V RadioShack motor for a non-mag car
