Kleskun Hills- Cars Arriving

An overseas container arrived from Germany today. In it were Roland's entries to the 2017 Kleskun Hills Fun run

1970 Camaro with an exquisite etched Chassis.

Audi DTM car with an SCX chassis.

Both cars were given a quick few laps to determine possible qualifying and race settings. More Chassis info to follow as we lead up to the race.

Not that I'm worried but maybe starting to be a little because I shipped my cars three weeks ago and estimate delivery was 4-8 days...

I don´t know whether you know this really successful and race - proven method to clean the tires -

stick two ca. 300 mm pieces of double - sided carpet tape on a piece of MDF or plywood or whatever and roll the cars´ rear wheels with soft pressure along the tape. I think it wouldn´t be advisable with sponge rubber, but any hard rubber or PU.

my cars are already in Canada, but are stuck in the customs, according to the tracking system of the austrian post ...

The Camaro is a nice car, i already had the pleasure of driving it :D
So, the Cuda will have a nice challenge ...

The Dodge Farmer Racing shipping container arrived today. Cars were rolled out and did a few practice laps.

btw, it´s Lancia Beta Turbo, not a Monte Carlo. did the same car, but with a different paint scheme. it´s a nice and light Heller body, i think.

i hope my cars can get out of custom confinement soon ...

The PDR stable of cars arrived at Kleskun Hills during the night. Unloaded this morning and test driven.

good to see that they arrived at your track and are able to move!
i hope there is no guide/front wheels not touching the track issue?
