My favorite BMW! Carrera has been peeking in my brain. The Spirit version is in deep trouble now!

Those look great! One or two of those could find there way here. Wonder how they compare to the Spirit versions? 8-)

Well the Spirit BMW is quite hard to drive IMO. It has a long can motor similar to the Boxer Slot It motor, tons of power, tons of torque. The rear wheels hit the body on the inner fender wells on the Spirit car so trying to use the pod in there is somewhat pointless. The front axle is too long and because of that the front wheels hit the body. The body shape is quite nice. Sadly the friends that I had at Spirit at the time all left about the time that they released the BMWs... i'm honestly not sure what's up with Spirit now.

Dave got it right.

The body from the Spirit car goes well on a scratchbuilt chassis, and the chassis that comes with it is full of goodies to put on other cars. I think that covers it.

Spirit 2002 has round taillights. Square taillights were only on the car in 1976.

I like these 2002's as well, I got the first release one, its a beautiful little car, Carrera are making some really neat stuff, am also looking forward to the Cobra hardtops (passed on the MRRC version, will wait).
