Copper Tape On Scaletrix Sport Track ?

I was wondering if you copper tape on a Scaletrix Sport Track does that help with even power flow or do you still need jumper wires , track will be about 42 feet long
also wondering which is the best type of paint to use to paint track , any help will be much appreciated

You need to use copper tape with conductive adhesive, Venture brand tape is commonly used. You should not need to add any jumpers for a track of that length. Any sort of spray paint should work well.

As RichD says, the conductive adhesive tape works best. You'll also find that your cars braid will last longer due to the fact it's not having to deal with the rough spots where the track pieces join.

I've done it with the stuff sold at Michael's and Hobby Lobby too. I just made sure to poke it in a few places with an Xacto to ensure a connection to the rails was established. Worked great!
