That does look really cool!
But I don't like the idea of using straight slot screws. Phillips head screws are so much easier to work with...

Man, Looking at that wide footprint of the motor cutout over the rails of that plastic track illustrates why the magnet racers go for those FK180 angle winder set ups so much. There's a lotta potential downforce over a pretty wide swath. I don't see me ever needing one of those chassis since I don't have room in my wallet to start collecting modern GT or LMP cars in addition to my classics. A guy has to make choices sometimes. But I would love to have a barrel full of those front axle towers though. It's a great idea to put out a top notch chassis to go with the beautiful Carrera bodies. I hope they do well.

Me too. You gotta respect excellence, even if there's never going to be a time when I would personally need this unit.
