Recently our friend Pat came over to do some racing with Dad and I. Dad was able to shoot some video of the Fly Vettes and the Scaley Stangs in action.

The track looks great! The cars seem to be really hooked up to the track. Are you racing the cars with or without the traction magnet?
Best regards,
Brian

Brian we only run non-magnet. Stock tires (sanded on my 'high tech' sanding block which is an old piece of Ninco straight away, that has been hot wired with a few strips of sand paper hot glued to the surface  ). Some cars need weight. The most used 'hop-up' part for us is the Slot.It CH26 guide (especially for Rev-o-grams). Aside from that we try to keep them as stock as possible. We 'level' the playing field by driving similar cars against one another.
We're not too far from you BTW. Just right down Tylersville Rd @ I-75!! I'm just sayin ;) !

We run most everything at 12v. We'll go down to 10v for the way too fast Scaley and Fly F1/GP cars.

We run everything from Vanquish MG Can-Ams to Cartrix vintage F1s. Even the Fly trucks (I hate) and resin Racers. We might get around to finishing the track one of these days !
