I think I remember Pioneer saying the hood was being made as a seperate part so that the various versions (cowl induction, flat hood and others with different trim and vents) could be made using the same body mold - really pretty smart.
Can't wait to run mine!

1) It's iconic, and I know it will be better than the Scalextric version
2) Because Jules is a good guy, who understands slot car guys
3) Because he went through a sea of sh** trying to keep this thing afloat
4) To help him continue all the other cool projects he has in mind for us
