This my resin bodied Matra 670B long tail from Le Mans 1973. The driver in the car is J P Beltoise. The detailing is a combination of paint, decals and cut out shapes from self adhesive sheet. The chassis is a brass sidewinder. The car was created for a 70's le Mans class at my club.

Very nice work. What always got me about the Matras in the early 70's was that at the beginning of a race they sounded like Ferraris, by the middle of a race they sounded like someone had dropped a bucket of bolts down the intakes and by the end of a race they usually didn't make any sound at all. But they sure were pretty.

Thanks for the kind comments gents. Ref the above this car DNF'd after a few hours with accident damage due to a puncture. It did qualify third on the grid though.
