the chassis is a Ninco one (modified from an XK120 I think) and the motor is a BWA - can't overpower these guys with the likes of an NC-5 - I am in the process of switching all my Ninco classics to NC-1/8 or BWA motors

Posted: Tue Apr 30, 2013 4:19 pmGreat colour choice David. I think the blue is a little more forgiving of imperfections than black is. And such a gorgeous rich blue. Someone mentioned fountain pen ink.... That's it. It's just the colour of the Mont Blanc blue ink. Darker than royal blue but not that grotty looking blue black.
