Cold and rainy here. And us usual I ran out of a few parts for projects on the bench...but I have something else to work on.



It has sat for too long. I have the tires and all the rest looks good. So will go through it and get it as smooth as I can.

There is something about those Nascars, regardless of which of the three companies made them, that is cool. Their detail is great and they look bad to the bone. Great pic boss!

Used the extra wide PGT's this time. Sanded the inside edge a little but they fit fine.



Cleared the chassis edges, cleaned the braid and lubed it up.



Just a little tweaking and now it hauls the mail :)

It's looking good.

I thought we might see some of the CB Design "Stock Car" wheels on this one.

I just came up with a couple of cars to work on. I think they should wind up being quite a lot of fun.

I have a couple sets but wanted to keep this one as simple and stock as the old lumber will allow. I have another that is..., well it just needs more. :lol:

I think I am going to try something new.... slot boat racing. It just seems to make more
sense right now.

I have a couple of SCX Nascars here with changed out rear axles to slot it stuff and CB design wheels and I see no appreciate advantage with them over others that have stock parts when the power levels and the tires are the same. The SCX Nascars OTB were just that good. Their wheels are round, their bushings and axle fit is precise. Other than the stock guide set up, I love 'em.

Not much, Harry. Check our site for some deals on outdoor furniture. On the weekend
they were predicting another 2 to 3 inches, and I about s**t. Fortunately it fizzled out.
Bomberto's house was totally surrounded, but he luckily didn't get much inside.
