I found this Mako Corvette kit complete still in the bag at a train show for $2. Finally got around to building it, I used a Sebring chassis, upgraded to a M/T SL-1 motor, and used a pre-painted driver from Smilin Ray. Just need to get some tires from Paul Gage.
It will be perfect for when we race our NC1 open cars.

I didn't even know anyone made a 1.32 Mako Shark. Very unique.

I am kicking myself, the guy had two kits for sale and I cheaped out and only bought one. The bag on the second kit was pretty beat up so I think I was worried it might be missing parts. Oh to second guess yourself...

Not to hijack the thread as this slot car Mako looks great!!!
However, to a certain teenager in the year it came out...I loved the 'Vette-thing from Corvette Summer. I liked Annie Potts back then too...

Corvette Summer, I think the teacher that let the kids build that monstrosity should have been fired, IMO...

Right. The incomplete kits that are missing wheels or interior parts that I won't
need are just the ticket for a buck or two.
